Presentation
PhD in political science and a researcher at the Department of Journalism, Media and Communication at the University of Gothenburg. Since 2019, I have worked as a postdoctoral researcher within an RJ-funded research program on knowledge resistance and the role of the media.
Research area
My research primarily revolves around political communication, with a focus on how news media and politicians' communication influence public opinion and citizens' knowledge of society and politics. I am also conducting research in survey methodology.
Current research
I am currently participating in two research projects. One is part of an RJ-funded research program that examines the spread of misinformation in various news channels, and its effects on political knowledge and knowledge resistance. The second project, funded by the Marianne and Marcus Wallenberg Foundation, examines how strategic use of political dogwhistles can influence political support among different constituencies.
Teaching
I supervise theses and teach master's students in political communication about quantitative research methods. I have also taught courses in political science, for example on political institutions and Swedish politics in a comparative perspective.
