Utilization of Ecotoxicological Research in Society - Bridging the gap between Scientists and Stakeholders

The platform Ecotoxicology - from Gene to Ocean (EGO) and Gothenburg Centre for Marine Research at the Centre for Environment and Sustainability, GMV, hereby invites you to participate in a one-day workshop about utilization of scientific results in society and the interaction between academic research and stakeholders in the area of chemicals; their use, ecotoxicity, hazard and risk assessment and biomonitoring.

The workshop aims to bridge the current gap between results produced by science and results needed by risk regulators, producers and other stakeholders. We will have participants from authorities, industry, NGOs and academia, who will present their views on this issue. The conference is free of charge and lunch is included, but travel expenses have to be paid by the participants.
