About Saki Bailey

Doctoral student in Private Law.

Thesis project: The Common Good in Common Goods

Main supervisor: Filippo Valguarnera.

Saki Bailey is a Doctoral Candidate at the Department of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden and a Research Associate and Lecturer at the International University College of Turin. She received her Juris Doctor from UC Hastings with an emphasis in International & Comparative Law. Her research and teaching interests are in legal theory, comparative law, property law, management of common resources and social and economic rights. She has been a participant and organizer of the Common Core of European Private law since 2010 and a Co-editor on a forthcoming volume together with Ugo Mattei and Filippo Valguarnera on “Access to Commons.” Her recent publications include Martinez, L., Bailey, S.,  & Pradi, A.
