About Cecilia Engdahl

Cecilia Engdahl defended her dissertation in 2013 on the thesis "Arthritis and immune-mediated bone loss -role of estrogen signaling" here at Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg. Followed by a Swedish Research Council-funded Post Doc in Germany, Erlangen University Clinic, FAU. She became an associate professor in 2019 and also received a Swedish Research council starting grant the same year.

Cecilia works at the Department of Rheumatology and Inflammation Research and in the research collaboration Center for Bone and Arthritis Research, CBAR.
