About Mariela Acuna Mora

Mariela Acuna Mora is a PhD student in the Institute of Health and Care Sciences. She is born and raised in Costa Rica. She has a nursing degree from Costa Rica and a Master's in Public Health with Health Economics from the University of Gothenburg.

Her doctoral position is the first double degree at the Sahlgrenska Academy. She will receive a double doctorate, from SA and KU Leuven, Belgium.

Research

Mariela's research is the transition from pediatric to adult care in adolescents with congenital heart disease.
