About Veronica Alfredsson
I work at the Biomedical and Hälsovetarbacken libraries. These libraries mainly support students and faculty at Sahlgrenska Academy and the Faculty of Science. From 2013-2021 my main responsibilities were teaching searching, evaluating and handling various kinds of information and information sources. Pedagogic development is a special interest of mine, and in particular student centered teaching and learning, and in 2020-2021 I was engaged in the new course NFNF303 - Teaching and Learning in Higher Education 1 for PhD students at the Faculty of Science.
Since 2022 teaching is no longer my main responsibility. Nowadays I work in Team Customer Services, where I meet students and faculty individually via chat, e-mail, telephone and at our information desks. Together with my new team we work with improving and developing our facilities and learning/study environments at both our libraries, mainly using the method User Experiences (UX).
As part of the steering committee of the national network Rum för lärande I get to arrange conferences and professional development concerning teaching and learning in various environments.
