The Dark Tetrad traits were regressed on 31 lower order TCI-sub-scales. Most dark traits were associated with being rule-breaking, prejudiced, self-centered, hostile, revengeful, and opportunistic. Machiavellianism was specifically associated to being detached, pretentious, and idealistic; Narcissism to being outgoing and aloof; Psychopathy to being risk-taking; and Sadism to being determined.
