Results for the Swedish Institute's Scholarship for Global Professionals are published.

1 May - Deadline for paying tuition fees
Together with your admission, you will receive more information about tuition fees and the last day to pay the first tuition fee installment. Our recommendation is however to pay it as soon as possible after the admission results if you are applying for a residence permit. How to pay your tuition
7 May - Webinar: Preparing your journey to Gothenburg
During this webinar, you will get useful tips from our Student Ambassadors about a range of topics: What to pack, living costs in Sweden, or how to navigate the city. The following information and dates only apply if you have applied in the second admission round, with application deadline 15 April.
11 July - Admission results published (Selection 1)
The notification of selection results is published under your account on University Admissions.
19 July - Last day to reply to you admission offer
In this admission round you are required to accept or decline your offer through University Admissions.
25 July - Final admission results published (Selection 2)
The final selection result is published under your account on University Admissions. You don't need to reply.
Tuition fee payments
If you have applied in the second admission round and are required to pay tuition fee, the University will send you an e-mail with more information.

August and September
Welcome Programme for international students

2 September - The autumn semester starts
The official start of the autumn semester. Please note that some courses can start a bit earlier or later. Some faculties and departments also host welcome events the week before.

Social media groups for admitted students
Facebook group
Our Student Ambassadors, together with Staff from Welcome Services, will post useful information and tips for studying in Gothenburg, and try to answer any questions that you may have. The group will also give you the possibility to communicate with future classmates and other international students coming to Gothenburg.
WeChat group
We have also created an official WeChat group for all admitted Chinese students to get connected with each other. Let's prepare the trip to Gothenburg together!
