Campus and facilities

We offer a unique opportunity for students. We don't have a campus in the outskirts of Gothenburg; instead the whole city is our campus. Where you spend most of your time in the city depends on what courses you are taking. Also note that we also have facilities in smaller towns a few hours from Gothenburg. This is an introduction to our campus, buildings, and study environments.

The University of Gothenburg is an urban university. This means the University is spread out across several areas in central Gothenburg. If you live here, you can walk, bike, or take public transportation to your lectures. If you live outside of Gothenburg, you will have to commute some distance.

Campus App

The "Find your way on campus" app provides addresses and information about the University’s different campuses, restaurants, and parking options. You can also search for service centres, computer rooms, and printers using the app
