Migration and Polarisation – patterns, mechanisms and experiences.
This project Migration and Polarisation on the Labourmarket: patterns, mechanisms and experiences, is one of six projects within the six year programme: The Challenges of Polarization on the Swedish Labour Market funded by FORTE. This project addresses the integration of migrants and minorities into the Swedish labourmarket by assessing the extent, implications and experiences of ethnic polarisation across different dimensions; that is, between majority and minority populations (first and second generations); and the diversity within the migrant workforce and its distribution across the occupational structure.
This project is part of the FORTE programme The Challenges of Polarization on Swedish Labour Market, program leader Tomas Berglund and Gabriella Elgenius is project leader for WP3: https://www.gu.se/en/research/the-challenges-of-polarization-on-swedish-labour-market
