Annual meetings
The annual NEON meeting is in form a 2 days conference. The program includes key presentations by invited lecturers distinguished in a particular aspect of nutritional epidemiology. Another regular program point is presentations by doctoral students followed by a discussion with a selected senior scientist. After all presentations there is ample time for discussions. At the annual meeting there is also a poster session where NEON members have an opportunity to display recently presented posters.
Commonly the annual meeting is for one full day, lunch day 1 to lunch day 2 as this allows evening time for informal interactions. The conference venue varies from year to year reflecting the location of home institutions of the working group.
