More and more, language teachers are asked to find their own inputs to fashion into language courses, for example a set of readings from news or other texts for a course to build reading skills. This is an opportunity but also a challenge. How will texts be found, sequenced and tested to match the growth edge of a particular set of learners? The tools of data-driven learning can be adapted for the job.
