Tilman Skowroneck medförfattare till prisbelönt bok

Mellan 2015 och 2021 har Tilman Skowroneck, lektor i musikalisk gestaltning vid Högskolan för scen och musik, varit del av forskningsklustret “Declassifying the Classics” vid Orpheus Institute i Gent, Belgien, med ett specialfokus på Beethoven och hans “utländska” pianon.

Projektets nyaste bok, Beethoven’s French Piano: A Tale of Ambition and Frustration (University of Chicago Press, 2022) har nyligen tilldelats 2024 års Nicholas Bessaraboff Prize av The American Musical Instrument Society.

I juryns motivering läser vi att boken är:
