Christer Ljungwall är nationalekonom med många års erfarenhet som forskare vid Kinas främsta lärosäten - Peking University och Peking University HSBC Business School, seniorekonom vid Asiatiska Utvecklingsbanken, och Tekniskt-Vetenskapligt råd vid Sveriges ambassad i Kina/Peking. Han ingår i flera internationella forskargrupper som arbetar med olika aspekter av Kina och landets roll i den globala miljön. Christer Ljungwall är idag verksam vid Göteborgs universitet där hand doktorerade år 2003.
