Forugh Vazirisani har grundexamen i BMA och licentiate examen i Mikrobiologi vid Göteborgs Universitet. Hon disputerade vid Institutet av Odontologi, Göteborgs Universitet, 2008 med avhandling "Molecular and cellular control of palate development in the mouse". Hon har för närvarande en post doc position vid avdelning för Biomaterialvetenskap.
