Tommy D. Andersson, PhD is a senior professor in Tourism and Hospitality Management in the School of Business, Economics and Law at Gothenburg University. He received his PhD in managerial economics at Gothenburg University in 1989 and served from 1997 as a professor in Management Accounting at Bodo Graduate School of Business in Norway and later on as a programme director at the European Tourism Research Institute in Sweden. His main research interests are economic impact analysis, event and festival management, restaurant management accounting, and cost-benefit analysis. His publications are mainly in the area of Festival Management and Tourism Experiences.
