Gothenburg Science Festival: Evolution in the Ocean

Popular science

Evolution in the ocean can go slowly but also fast. Some species can change very quickly and develop adaptations to new environments. There are many possibilities in the genes of organisms. Welcome to visit the Science Festival and hear our young researchers talk about how species in the sea have evolved and continue to evolve through evolution and genetic adaptation. Can evolution even make it possible for species to adapt to global climate change and thus "save" them into the future?
