English: Master Thesis, Literary Specialization
About
This course aims at giving students an opportunity to work independently under supervision on an in-depth study of issues relating to both theory and practice in English literary studies. By applying such theories and also relying on relevant research, students are expected to write a scientific research paper on a selected topic in the field resulting in a 30 hec Master thesis in English literature.
Prerequisites and selection
Entry requirements
The requirement for admission to the course is a Bachelor's degree including an individualassignment of at least 15 credits, or the equivalent in a foreign degree, and at least 30 creditsin literary courses in English as the main field of study at second cycle level.
Selection
Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 165 credits.
