About

The aim of the course is to give basic knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS), practical handling of geographic information systems and their application.

A main part of the course is devoted to practical, mainly geoscientific,  exercises with GIS programs. 

The course is part of the Bachelor's programme in Earth Sciences, the course is  also offered as a freestanding course.

This course is open to

General entrance requirements

English proficiency

Incoming students should have an English level equivalent of B2 or higher as courses and materials, including presentations and exams, will be in English.
