Every two weeks you will get clean sheets and towels. Notes will be posted when the change will take place, and you will be asked to leave the used linen by your door. The same day you will get clean linen delivered to the room.
 

Cleaning is not included during your stay or at your departure. You will find vacuum cleaners and other cleaning utensils in the corridor and in the laundry room.

Please keep the kitchen and the areas that you share with other tenants as clean and tidy as you would like to find them yourself.

On departure you must leave the room neat and tidy, ready for the next guest. 

In the hallway at Nordostpassagen 18 there is a garbage chute (a small metal door in the wall). Garbage must be well wrapped in closed plastic bags, with the handles firmly tied in a knot before being thrown down the chute.

In Sweden it is customary to sort and recycle your garbage, and recycle bins for light bulbs, batteries or other types of environmentally hazardous refuse are available in the corridor.

Recycle bins for newspapers, glass and plastic can be found in the kitchen. The nearest recycle station is located at Vegagatan 19.

There is a broadband modem in your room. Please follow the instructions found next to the modem on how to connect.

The equipment is the property of Welcome Services at the University of Gothenburg and shall be left in the apartment at all times.

The key to your room also opens the entrance door. Please make sure the outer doors always close properly behind you.

The keys and the Keycode tag are property of Welcome Services. Please note that you have to cover the cost if you lose or damage them. Do not separate the keys from the Keycode tag at any time!

With the various seasons there will be leaves, pebbles, gravel or snow on the ground that might obstruct the closing of the front doors, and it might be necessary to use a broom to keep the threshold clean so the doors can close properly. There is no daily maintenance to do this for you so take a few seconds to make sure the front door always closes after you have opened it.

At your final departure
Please lock the door and put the complete set of keys in the little box on the wall in the kitchen.

The laundry room is located on the first floor, near the entrance/exit at Vegagatan 15. The key for your room will fit. Use the lock with your room number on the schedule board to book a time slot.

Please move the lock back to “parking” if you are not going to use the laundry room. NB: Wired brassiere must be washed in wash bag/net.

You find the mailbox in the first kithcen when you enter the building from the patio entrance. For the mail to be delivered, you need to have your name on the letterbox. We will provide you with a name sticker.
Also, for mails to reach you, your address must include your name, street, street number, apartment number, zip code and mailing address.

Larger parcels are not delivered to your address but to designated delivery locations. If you are due to receive a package, you will be notified of where you can collect it. Please note that it will be stored for a limited time. 

Remember to forward your mail to your new address when moving out.

If anything is amiss with the room or the common areas, please contact us as soon as possible and we can send someone to do the repairs or replace missing items.

Simpler maintenance, such as changing light bulbs, cleaning the water trap of the wash basin etc. is the tenants’ responsibility.

The rooms are furnished and equipped, including bed linen and towels.
Each room has a shower, toilet, refrigerator and some kitchen equipment.

There's no provision for storage at this location. We kindly request tenants not to bring their own furniture or other large items.
