In December 2020, the report Women, Chemicals and the SDGs was published by IPEN. The report highlights the role of gender equality in achieving the sound management of chemicals, by showing the impact of hazardous chemicals on women as a vulnerable group as well as gender inequalities related to decision-making. In this seminar, we discuss the findings of the report and explore further how gender and chemicals are interlinked and what implications this may have for policy-makers and consumers.
