Elinor Bexe Lindskog är MD, PhD, specialistläkare i kirurgi vid kolorektalsektionen, Sahlgrenska Universitetssjukhus/ Östra.
Hon disputerade 2014 på avhandlingen Experimental and population-based studies on colorectal cancer – Thymidine phosphorylase as a potential biomarker.
Hennes forskning är främst av translationell och kirurgonkologisk karaktär, där hennes fokusområde är kolorektal cancer, både tidig cancer och med spridning till bukhinnan. Hon är i nuläget site PI för den nationellt drivna kliniska studien EFFIPEC-Efficacy of Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy a Single-arm Phase I study, followed by an open-label, randomized, controlled registry-based phase III trial och en klinisk studie på sköra patienter som ska opereras för en tjock- eller ändtarmscancer.
I mars 2023 fick hon ett Junior Clinical Investigator Award (2023-2029) på drygt 5,2 miljoner från Cancerfonden - Immunterapi vid tarmcancer och på vår webb Individualiserad cancerterapi vid kolorektalcancer – med utgångspunkt från tumörens specifika egenskaper
