Importance of Contextualizing Data in Event Format for AI Development

Science and Information Technology

Nowadays we talk a lot about the power of big data, AI/ML and data driven decisions. However, in most cases it turns out that either the data quality is too poor or the context of the data is missing. This results in high data washing costs or even failed projects. It is not only about cleaning and contextualizing data but also about doing it in a way that data become easy to use for the future. A good start is to focus on data quality and contextualization already at the stage of data capture. A great way to do this is through storing data as events.
