Organising Committee

Adnan Hajdarevic, chair of the organizing committee.

A Two-Tiered Enterprise

Engaging in oral science can be understood as a two-tiered effort. The first tier involves delving into specific, often unique topic areas, while the second tier encompasses more general aspects such as designing studies, analysing data, and writing research reports, typically in the form of scientific articles.

During this conference, our focus will be on addressing the generic tier of conducting oral science research and reporting findings. These issues are of importance as they impact the broader oral scientific community and are essential for anyone handling with oral science challenges.

Workshops and Networking

The scientific program of NYSCO 2024 will span three days filled with lectures and workshops led by renowned researchers in Dentistry and Medicine. In addition, young dental researchers will have the chance to collaborate and discuss their own research with peers, alongside poster presentations. Social events will also be organized to foster networking among young researchers in oral science from the Nordic and Baltic countries.

Participant Selection Criteria

Group I: To qualify as a participant in NYSCO 2024, individuals must primarily be active doctoral students at an odontological university in the Nordic or Baltic countries. Registration operates on a first-come, first-served basis.

Group II: If there are remaining spots available at NYSCO 2024, individuals who completed their dissertations in 2023 and 2024 will be given the opportunity to participate.
