Notice of Admission Autumn Semester 2021
From the start of the autumn semester 2021, an adapted gradual return to campus will take place. Our goal is to offer some campus-based teaching in all courses during the autumn term.
Start of the Autumn Semester
The official start date of the semester is August 30 2021. For more precise dates for starting your course or program, look up your course via the Canvas Learning Platform.
Studying at the university
Via the Student Portal, you can get access to services and information concerning your everyday life as a student at the University of Gothenburg. This is also where you can find information which may be relevant to you as a new student.

Start Dates for Courses and Programmes
Admission Notice 1
A first admission message for applicants for the autumn courses will be available on Antagning.se on July 16. To accept or reject your position: Go to My pages to reply by July 23 at the latest.
Admission Notice 2
Your second admission notice for the autumn term 2021 will be published on July 29. The official start date of the semester is August 30. For more precise dates for starting your course or program, look up your course via the Canvas learning platform (see link below).
Registration
No later than week 32, you are expected to receive a welcome letter from the department via e-mail. The letter contains a link to Canvas, where you will find schedules, syllabuses and literature lists, as well as information about registration.
The registration takes place August 23-24 (period 1) and October 27-28 (period 2). Registration is mandatory - if you do not register you risk losing your place of education!
You may inform yourself about the courses / programs through the Canvas public index
1) Search for your course using your course code.
2) Click on your course.
3) Up in the left-hand corner is the course overview, click here to take part of the syllabus, literature list and schedule.
