About
The course introduces knowledge and skills that are central to an academic career. Students are given an overview of the actors and structures that shape knowledge production, such as different forums for presenting or publishing research and different bodies that fund work in the humanities.
The course also focuses on developing the skills required to contribute to knowledge production, including writing research proposals, delivering conference presentations and publishing complete work. The course prepares students to submit an academic paper for publication.
Prerequisites and selection
Entry requirements
Admission to the course requires completion of a Magister or Masters degree project in either Literature, History of Ideas, Religious Studies and Theology or Theatre Studies. In addition, language skills corresponding to English A/English 5 are required.
Selection
Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 165 credits.
