Language in Practice
Summary
The purpose of the placement is to give you the opportunity to apply your language skills in a work situation, and to identify potential future career paths in Sweden or abroad.
About
This course includes a half-semester long placement at a workplace where you perform tasks related to language. You are responsible yourself for finding a suitable placement, which could be a translation agency, embassy, cultural institution, etc. In addition to the placement, the course includes seminars, as well as the submission of a final placement report.

Prerequisites and selection
Entry requirements
To be admitted to the course, students must fulfill general entry requirements for higher education at first cycle level, including English 6.
A further requirement is completed courses (optional) from second cycle of at least 15 credits, or the equivalent.
Selection
Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 165 credits.
