Mina forskningsintressen inkluderar skolval, skolmarknader, segregation, marknadisering, privatisering, differentieringsprocesser i utbildningssystemet, förändringar i tillgång till utbildningsmöjligheter och likvärdighet över tid på systemnivå, landsbygd och spatiala analyser. Jag är särskilt intresserad av platsens betydelse för utbildning. Jag arbetar främst med registerdata från Gothenburg Longitudinal Database (GOLD).
Nuvarande projekt:
- School, learning and mental health: determinants, consequences and prevention of school failure //Skola, lärande och psykisk hälsa: påverkansfaktorer, konsekvenser och prevention av skolmisslyckande. Leds av Jan-Eric Gustafsson.
- FLECSLAB. Utredare i Workpackage 2 - Lifelong Learning Business Model.
Tidigare projekt:
- Gymnasiemarknaden i svenskglesa områden. Valet av gymnasieutbildning bland familjer och elever medmigrationsbakgrund i etniskt heterogena och socioekonomiskt tillbakasatta bostadsom. Leds av Håkan Forsberg, Uppsala Universitet.
- Nordic Multiagency Approaches to Handling Extremism: Policies, Perceptions and Practices (2018-2021), projektledare: Tore Björgo, Oslo universitet. I projektet studerades samverkansarbete i arbetet mot våldsbejakande extremism i Danmark, Finland, Norge och Sverige.
- EUTOPIA. Utredare i Workpackage 2 - Utbildning.
Jag är med i forskningsmiljöerna Förutsättningar, Utbildning och Resultat (FUR) samt KRIT.
