Christina Nilsson är barnmorska, fil. dr och docent i sexuell och reproduktiv hälsa. Hon är anställd vid Munkebäcks Barnmorskemottagning Regionhälsan, Göteborg, VGR och affilierad till institutionen för vårdvetenskap och hälsa.
Christinas forskning handlar om förlossningsrädsla med närliggande områden som förlossningsrummets miljö, traumatiska förlossningsupplevelser, olika vårdmodeller och upplevelser av vård, samt vaginal förlossning efter tidigare kejsarsnitt i nationell och internationell kontext.
Aktuella uppdrag:
- Sakkunnig expert i pilotprojekt om sammanhållen vårdkedja för gravida med förlossningsrädsla och annan sårbarhet i Göteborgsregionen. Vårdmodellen innebär relationell kontinuitet med gravida som ombesörjs av ett team av barnmorskor genom hela vårdkedjan graviditet, förlossning och eftervård. Implementering av pilotprojektet planeras till första kvartalet 2024 och pågå 2024–2025.
- Ledamot i Svenska Barnmorskeförbundets Vetenskapliga råd.
