Eva Hjörne är professor i pedagogik vid Göteborgs universitet. Hon driver och har drivit flera forskningsprojekt finansierade av framförallt Vetenskapsrådet och Forte. Hon är forskningsledare för PRIS – Platform for Research on Inclusion and School Development vid Institutionen för pedagogik och specialpedagogik, Göteborgs universitet. Forskningsintresse Min forskning handlar främst om inkludering, elevhälsa och hälsofrämjande skolutveckling samt om lärande och undervisning i särskilda undervisningsgrupper. Hur kan skolan utvecklas för att främja ungas välbefinannde och måluppfyllelse? Vilka kategorier och förklaringar till barn och ungas svårigheter i skolan introduceras och används av institutionen och dess representanter som resurs för att fatta beslut och lösa problem? Vilka pedagogiska konsekvenser resulterar det i och vad innebär det för barns lärande, identitet och livskarriär? Hur kan elevhälsan bidra till en skolmiljö som gynnar lärande, utveckling och hälsa hos alla barn och unga? Vilka trender kan vi se internationellt när det gäller inkludering och en skola för alla?
Undervisningsintresse Jag undervisar och handleder studenter på fristående kurser och på grund- påbyggnads- och forskarutbildning inom pedagogik, lärar-, specialpedagog- och speciallärarutbildning, samt i uppdrags-utbildningar för elevhälsopersonal och lärare. Mitt undervisnings-intresse handlar framförallt om elevhälsa, inkludering, kategoriserings- och marginaliseringsprocesser. Samverkansintresse Jag samverkar med forskare vid andra lärosäten, både nationellt och internationellt, genom forskningsprojekt, nätverk, publikationer, anordnande av konferenser, symposier etc. Jag samverkar även med aktörer utanför akademin genom exempelvis uppdragsforskning, föreläsningar eller i form av externa kurser.
