Fredrik Carlsson is a professor in the Department of Economics, University of Gothenburg. He received his PhD form University of Gothenburg in 1999. His early work focused on environmental valuation and environmental regulation. His main interest is on the interface between behavioral and environmental economics. In particular exploring aspects such as social preferences, norms, and fairness concerns for cooperation and resource conservation. He is a co-editor at Journal of Environmental Economics and Management.
