Min forskningsgrupp fokuserar på cellulär elektronmikroskopi, speciellt kryoelektrontomografi. Med denna teknik gör man högupplösta 3D bilder av celler. Mitt labbs forskningsfokus tvådelat: ena halvan undersöker hur eukaryotiska flageller är uppbyggda, speciellt mänskliga spermiesvansar. Den andra halvan av labbet forskar på cellulärt åldrande och cell stress.
Jag gjorde hela min utbildning utomlands (Tyskland, USA och England). Jag doktorerade på EMBL i Heidelberg, Tyskland 2007. Docent i Cell Biologi 2018. Universitetslektor sedan 2019.
