About Team Researcher Support, Biomedical Libraries

The Researcher support team is mainly adressing researchers and doctoral students at Sahlgrenska Academy and the Faculty of Science. The team deals with issues related to information retrieval, databases, research impact, publication and selection of journals, as well as reference management using EndNote. We do teaching and individual consultations on demand. We lecture regularly at the faculties' mandatory doctoral courses, and manage the series "20 minutes for researchers" https://www.ub.gu.se/en/services-and-support/20-minutes-for-researchers, short presentations where we share advise on useful tools and services.

Team Researcher support also provides methodological support for systematic reviews. We plan, conduct and document major searches in accordance with approved standards. We offer guidance with checking journals and avoiding questionable journals (i.e. predatory journals) for publishing and recruiting purposes.
