About Annika Björnsdotter
Background Leg. psychologist, doctor psychotherapist and supervisor in CBT, specialist in clinical psychology and PhD.
My doctoral thesis (disputation 2014) was part of the evaluation and implementation of a new parent training program in Sweden, Family Check-Up. The control condition consisted of an already existing and evaluated internet-based parent training program, iComet. The intervention was aimed at parents who had children aged 10-13 with externalizing problem behaviours. The title of the thesis is: Evaluation of Family Check-Up and iComet: Effectiveness as well as Psychometrics and Norms for Parent Rating Scales.
Since 2004, has worked clinically with individual treatment of mainly adults but also young people in a private setting.
Teaching I mainly teach at advanced level on the psychology program's psychotherapy courses within CBT. Also supervises the psychology students in their patient work. Teaches also on the psychotherapist program and supervises essays at various levels.
Research interest My research interests are about the intersection of sexology and CBT, leadership training and proactivity to increase well-being and sustainability.
