About Ulrika Helena Tenstam Juvas

Since her operatic debut in the role of Ramiro in La Finta Giardiniera by Mozart at the Oslo Summer Opera in 1987 and her Swedish debut in the role of Clytemnestre in Iphigenie en Aulide by Gluck at the Drottningholm Palace Theatre in 1989, Ulrika Tenstam has established herself as a colorful artist with her coloristic mezzo-soprano and strong performances in opera, church works, orchestral works and Lider nationally and internationally.

Ulrika is also a singing teacher and has held the position of assistant professor in musical performance with a focus on opera singing at the Department of Opera at the Stockholm Academy of the Arts 2015-23 and now holds the position of university assistant professor in scenic performance with a focus on music-dramatic singing at the Academy of Performing Arts at the University of Gothenburg.
