About Anne Hovad Fischer
Anne Hovad Fischer started her career as an editor assistant on films by Lars von Trier, Bille August, and Susanne Bier. She then studied at The National Film School of Denmark, where she earned a degree in film editing. Following that, she edited documentary, fiction, animation, and art films within Scandinavia. She edited two documentaries that won the Guldbagge Award for Best Documentary of the Year (2008 and 2011). Additionally, she completed an MA at Goldsmiths in Screen Documentary, and her own film has been nominated for several international awards. Furthermore, she studied in the MA program in Visual Culture at Lund University in Sweden.
