About Christopher Thorén
Christopher Thorén has a background as a music teacher and has been a doctoral student at the Department of Sociology and Work Science (Socav) and the Center for Educational Science and Teacher Research (CUL) since 2018.
His dissertation project is about Muslim young people and their experiences and relationship to high school as well as their thoughts on further studies and working life.
He currently teaches subjects related to intercultural competence, segregation, schooling, racism, ethnicity and gender. He also supervises bachelor's theses in sociology.
