About Ebba Lisberg Jensen
Ebba Lisberg Jensen is an Associate Professor of Human Ecology. Her research is primarily focused on issues of ecological literacy related to education for sustainable development. What is the meaning of recognising and naming species of plants and animals, and to be competent to move and orientate outdoors? Are there connections to a deeper understanding of ecology and sustainability issues. She also has an interest in the history of biology curricula in the Swedish educational system. Previously, Ebba has worked within research regarding ecosystem services and urban greenery, ethnicity and outdoor recreation, final depositories of nuclear waste and with biological diversity in forestry debates.
