Federica (Ph.D., Cantab 2010) is Senior Lecturer (universitetslektor) in archaeology at the Department of Historical Studies, University of Gothenburg.
Following a B.A. (Hons) in Oriental Studies and postgraduate studies in geoarchaeology (M.Phil. & Ph.D., Cantab), I held teaching and research posts in the UK, Spain, Italy, South Africa, and Denmark.
Before joining the Department of Historical Studies (2023), I was Senior Research Associate in African Archaeology at the University of Cambridge.
My main research interests are in landscape historical ecology, resource practices, and geoarchaeology of tropical environments.
