Research Areas - Examinations of old homes and churches built with log construction techniques from the craftsman’s perspective. The focus is on materials, tools, and techniques, as well as comprehensive issues of construction methods. The results are presented as actual structures and discuss various functional and aesthetic requirements. A future area of interest is the professionalization of log construction.
