Håkan Eggert
Senior Lecturer
Department of EconomicsAbout Håkan Eggert
Since 2007 I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics. My research deals with environmental and resource economics, often fisheries, natural resource management, marine issues, trade or valuation. Any of those often combined with various aspects of behavioral economics and/or linked to field experiments. I have taught environmental economics since 1993, and since 1996 I have taught environmental economics to environmental scientists and other non-economists. My teaching experience also includes micro and trade theory. I am in charge of the undergraduate program Environmental Social Science that has about 160 students. I am part of the Environment for Development network, and during 2008/09 I served as a Residential Advisor and visiting professor to the EfD Tanzania at University of Dar es Salaam. I am an Associate Editor of Environment and Development and of Marine Resource Economics where I also serve as the Book review editor. I have been Guest Editor of special issues of Marine Policy and Marine Resource Economics
