About Ida Röstlund

My research explores how a just climate transition can be implemented at the regional planning level, with a particular focus on the transport sector in the Västra Götaland Region. By combining analysis of current planning processes with exploratory design methods, I examine how dimensions of justice – distribution, representation, and recognition – can be integrated into regional planning. The project is carried out in close collaboration with the Department of Regional Planning at the Västra Götaland Regional Authority and aims to develop knowledge and strategies that support an inclusive and sustainable regional development. The research is part of the Just Transitions doctoral school, which focuses on governance and leadership for a just climate transition.
