About Jacob Lindh

Lindh has been engaged as a human biologist in sport science education and research at the University of Gothenburg (GU) since 2001. His research uses innovations in education and research to help students explore exercise biomechanics. His work seeks to investigate the best possible use of innovative technology, interdisciplinary and cross-cultural collaboration to achieve better learning outcomes in exercise sciences.

Lindh is an experienced lecturer in anatomy, physiology, sports physiology and biomechanics, and a frequently engaged lecturer in many other human biology courses such as exercise sciences and sports medicine.

Lindh has a Bachelor degree in Physical Education Teaching from the Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences (GIH) in Stockholm, 1997. He studied the basic courses at the School of Medicine in Gothenburg and at the Physiotherapy Program in Umeå, and advanced level studies in human biology at GIH, before his employment at the University of Gothenburg in 2001.

Lindh was “the architect” and the operationally answerable person for the Center for Health and Human Performance (KHP) at the University of Gothenburg that was inaugurated in mars 2011. He was the project coordinator and project leader from the early initiative 2005 until Jan 2012. During this period Lindh designed and equipped the laboratory environment, developed plans of operations and laid the early foundation of KHP’s trademark.
