About Jens Andreasson
My research focus is at the interface of law, economics, and technology/innovation management with a particular interest in intellectual property and financing in knowledge-intensive sectors. In more traditional legal research terms, my research would be categorized as falling within intellectual property law, credit law, bankruptcy law and property law. I have investigated themes within intellectual property rights law such as the use of intellectual property as security, the development of a European unitary patent, the development of SEPs and FRAND licensing in telecom etc.
Within property law and bankruptcy law, I have investigated fundamental themes such as the functional versus the unitary approach and the tradition versus the contractual principles. I have collaborated closely with researchers from the field of economy, finance and technology.
My teaching includes property law, intellectual property law, bankruptcy law, credit law and general private law on different levels of the law program.
