About Lotta Johansson Lotta Johansson is a senior lecturer at the institute and teaches primarily in the Postgraduate program in Specialist Nursing with focus on Critical and Intensive Care, but also in in the undergraduate Nursing program. She is registered nurse specialized in Intensive Care and has over 15 years’ experience of clinical work at Sahlgrenska university hospital (SU), Gothenburg. Research Lotta´s main research areas are physical environment in health care settings and Intensive Care. Her research in the healthcare environment area is mainly focused on sound and noise in high-tech environments. In Intensive Care her research focuses on the ICU discharge and transition process and improvement of the gap between intensive care and the next instance. Research group Acute and Critical Care Team (ACCT) group Health care environment Teaching Intensive care / post-operative care, clinical education (undergraduate and postgraduate level), scientific method, qualitative methods, supervision of student theses (undergraduate and postgraduate level). Clinical experience Lotta has extensive experience in clinical work as a Critical and Intensive Care Nurse. She has an employment at SU and work part time at a general ICU.
