About Richard Squibb

I am a British born 1st Research Engineer in the department of physics, with a focus on static and time-resolved measurements of neutral, transient, and reactive molecules in the gas phase, and negative ion species, studied using both laboratory based and national facility scale light sources in the ultraviolet and X-ray wavelengths, and coincidence time-of-flight spectroscopy using magnetic bottle electron spectrometers.

The primary research topics of our group are multi-electron ionisation processes, fragmentation of ion species produced via ionisation and nonlinear UV and X-ray physics.

I am also the primary engineer responsible for the construction and commissioning of a the new Attohallen attosecond science laboratory, whose focus will be attosecond resolution coincidence spectroscopy.
