About Sofia Axelsson

Presentation

Sofia Axelsson is deputy chief analyst at the Department of Political Science. Currently working with the research project EECC (Swedish Opinions on Environment, Energy and Climate Change), the Riksdag MP Survey 2022, as well as the international research project CIVPROF. Since 2016, she is also working with the international research project Linguistic Explorations of Societets (LES) at the Mid Sweden University, within which she functions as project coordinator. Affiliated with the Election Studies Programme and the Quality of Government Institute.

Research areas

Democracy, corruption and quality of government, climate studies, happiness studies, qualitative and quantitative methods, comparative survey research with a focus on linguistic and translational effects, text analysis, natural language processing and applications of compuational methods in social scientific research.
