About Sonja Göc

I work as a study counsellor at the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Gothenburg. I have both individual and group counselling sessions and make individual study plans.

I work with study-related issues such as information about the programme, courses, admissions, degrees, approved leave from studies, non-completion of studies, adapted study support, exchange studies, credit transfers of previous studies and regulations that apply to students at the University of Gothenburg and much more.

The study counsellor will support you in different study situations. Guidance is about highlighting the individual's ability to make conscious choices and make independent decisions, as well as increasing insight into their own responsibility. In the counselling sessions, studies, career choices and personal circumstances are woven together. The discussions will help you make independent decisions about your studies and your study situation.
