Research
I am a Slavist and Balkanologist. My research has one historical and one contemporary branch:
Historical research
I carry out research in the field of historical sociolinguistics, in which I investigate the development of the Russian language in the 1990s and the position of Russian in Sweden in the period 1721–1945. I am particularly interested in questions related to the role of the written language in society and literacy.
