Torsten Linders
Project Coordinator
Department of Marine SciencesAbout Torsten Linders
My background is research and teaching in physical oceanography. Nowadays I work with collaboration between academia, industry and the public sector. My focus is on projects in marine data, both collection, analysis and utilization. An overall ambition is to increase the pace of innovation and the use of marine data.
- C2B2 - Co-Creating Better Blue (starting September 2023)
- PLAN-SUBSIM - a national implementation of a PLatform for ANalysis of SUBSea IMages
- SeaCharging – Standardization of charging infrastructure for the maritime transport sector
- Ocean Data Factory Sweden
- SeaCat - an experimental autonomous surface vessel
- SCOOT - Swedish Centre for Ocean Observing Technology.
I am a member of the following steering groups/boards:
- The foundation Bornö Institute for Ocean and Climate Studies, chairperson of the board.
- Chalmers Revere Lab, member of the steering group, with a special interest in marine research platforms.
